The only runner capable of challenging Joe Rosa's pursuit of yet another meet record on Saturday was family. Bearing identical blue singlets and shocks of red hair, Rosa and twin brother Jim, juniors from West Windsor Plainsboro North, were indistinguishable as they surged stride-for-stride into Van Cortlandt Park's back hills on Saturday at the Manhattan Invitational.

WW-P No, Don Bosco In National Rankings Fresh off of their triumph at Saturday's NJSIAA Meet of Champions, The West Windsor-Plinsboro No. harriers find themselves ranked #9 in the latest MileSplit Network National Rankings. The Knights were perviously ranked #15. Don Bosco Prep, which was ranked as high as #5 nationally fell to #12. The 2 squads will meet again this Saturday at the Nike XC Regional Qualifier at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls, NY MileSplit Network National Rankings                       The Nationally #9 ranked WW-P No. Knights

The best layed plans of coaches & athletes....WW-P No. Soph Joe Rosa ran away from the Sophmore race field at the start and went through the Mile mark in 4:40 stayed strong en route to an impressive time of 9:38.22 for the 2 Mile course on the WW-P campus. " I just trying to get used to taking it out hard. last season it was all about negative splitting" Rosa went on to say regarding the race strategy. With his brother James sitting out the race as a precaution, Joe stormed away from the field, putting a big gap on everyone early. Rosa ran a slightly shorter course in 10:24 last year to take the Frosh Championship. Finishing behind Rosa were North Brunswick's Kyle Davis (10:58) and Cullen Davis (11:00), WW-P No. took the team race, placing 1,6,&7 in 3 man scoring.
