Colts Neck and Moorestown brought home the team trophies and Sianni Wynn of Pennsauken won three titles!

Quick Notes

  • Colts Neck teammates Hunter Celkupa and Jay Adimala earned top-two finishes individually for the 1600m and 3200m. Celkupa won the 1600m at 4:22.40 and Adimala won the 3200m at 9:45.07, both right with their teammates at the line in the events they finished second. Add in Dominic Marino's fourth-place run in the 3200m and Colts Neck earned 40 of their 72.5 points alone in the distance events. Burke Thompson of Hightstown also finished third in both those races.
  • The 55m dash came down to an extra decimal, Ricky Dillon of Brick Memorial just outleaning Terrance Williams of Hightstown for the title both recorded at 6.60. 
  • The only sophomore individual champion of the night came in the shot put when Brick Memorial's Jaxon Ellis won on his last attempt with a 49-09.


Team Champions

Colts Neck scored 72.5 points with a breakdown of 10 from the individual sprints, 40 from distance events, 12.5 from the jumps, and 10 from the 4x400m.

Jackson Memorial was second with 45.5 points, Hightstown third with 31.

Girls Highlights

Quick Notes

  • Sianni Wynn of Pennsauken won three individual titles clocking 56.68 in the 400m dash, 8.10 in the 55m hurdles, and 6.93 in the 55m dash.
  • Liliah Gordon of Northern Burlington won the 1600m, 4:57.94, and the 3200m, 10:34.24, after a head-to-head showdown in each with Allison Lee of West Windsor Plainsboro North. Lee earned two silver medals. 
  • Hannah Byrd-Leitner of Moorestown cleared 12-6 for the fourth straight meet to win the pole vault, state leader in the event. Also finished third in the 55H running 8.74.
  • Freshman star Hope Edwards of Moorestown won the 800m running 2:19.32 after an exciting battle for the lead, also advanced in the 400m after a second-place finish at 59.28.
  • Pennsauken had a freshman star win the shot put as well, Xyha'Marah Macklin threw 32-00.5 for a sectional title. That was her first time breaking the 30-foot barrier and her previous best was a 29-7.25!

Team Champions

Moorestown scored 76 points with a breakdown of 14 from the individual sprints, 6 from the hurdles, 18 from distance events, 28 from jumps, and 10 from the 4x400m.

Pennsauken finished second scoring 68 points, Colts Neck third at 36.
