Following another fantastic season of New Jersey cross country we'd like to applaud and thank everyone involved in making it happen.
Thank you to the athletes, coaches, meet directors, parents, administrators, the parks, the timers, our fellow media outlets who came out to cover our sport, the coaching associations around New Jersey, the NJSIAA, and more.
As per usual we've seen some special performances and memorable moments and it takes this community working together as a whole to make it possible.
Now we present the NJ MileSplit All-State selections and award winners for the 2023 New Jersey cross country season. To guide our decisions we considered those who put together a full season, quality and consistency of performances, titles and victories, and head to head matchups.
All team selections are listed in alphabetical order by their last name.
As always with a finite number of spots tough choices were discussed and made, athletes past these three selected teams were in definitely in consideration.
These teams were created through discussion between Jim Lambert and Robert Kellert.
