Big Marks Highlight Mercer Championships
Lawrenceville, NJ
The Mercer County Indoor Championships Meet held on Sunday at the Lavino Fieldhouse on the campus of The Lawrenceville school boasted top marks, great competition and a totally hassel free experience for athletes, coaches, jounalists and fans. I may be a little biased since I live here in the Capitol County and have made many friends among the coaches here over the years, but today's meet was one that others could and should go to school on.
Of all the excellent performances noted below(34 MileSplit Elite Marks), the most outstanding performance was turned in by Robbinsville senior Craig Hunter in the Pole Vault. Hunter who has vaulted very little this winter, soared 16-0 to jump to New Jersey #1 / US #5 for the season.
