As a freshman, Paige Sheppard of Union Catholic was the Non-Public A state champion, Union County Champion, runner-up at the NJISAA Meet of Champions, and she won the Nike Northeast Reginal title. The star sophomore returns this fall as the leading performer at Holmdel Park with her personal best of 17:54. She followed last fall up with incredibly impressive indoor and outdoor track campaigns and she should once again be leading elite fields this coming season.
