Seton Hall Prep has its eye on much more than just winning this baton duel. The Pirates want to take down the state record of 3:15.53 set in 2014 by Union Catholic.
The all senior foursome of Ryan Matulonis, Russell Webb, Nicholas DeVita, and Xavier Donaldson just missed that record when Seton Hall Prep ran a NJ No. 2 all-time 3:15.73, the second fastest time in the country this season, to win at the Millrose Games.
The next fastest team in the 4x400 is Ocean Township with a 3:22.53. Pennsauken ran 3:24.47 to win Group 3, but they are capable of getting under 3:20.
