Event Preview
The meet record of 7:47.50 set in 2020 by Kingsway is a very tough one to break, but there are four sub 800 teams that could push each other close to it.
Westfield comes in as the favorite after running a NJ No. 1/US No. 12 time of 7:52.34 a few weeks ago at Ocean Breeze. The Blue Devils have a remarkably deep stable of half milers, so they gave lots of options for their lineup. No matter who coach Chris Tafelski rolls put there, Westfield will be very difficult to defeat.
The next best teams are Cherokee (7:53.90), Colts Neck (7:57.17), Toms River North (7:59.87), and Ridge (7:59.87).
