This could be the best race of the day!
Luke Schagelin of Morris Knolls, who ran the fourth fastest time in meet history (1:52.89) when he was second last year, is the state leader in the 4-lapper with the 1:54.21 he ran to place second at the Easterns. But there are five other runners in this race who have run under 1:55 this season!
They are Raynier Galvez of Passaic Tech (1:54.39), Patrick Coyle of Red Bank Catholic (1:54.59), Robert Poplau of Cherokee (1:54.64), Michael Card of Howell (1:54.84) and Tommy Hunt of Oratory (1:54.85).
If someone takes this race out fast, there is a good chance it will take sub 1:54 to win.
