Event Preview

With 11 sprinters seeded under 22.00, including two under 21.60, there should be lots of fireworks in the one-lapper!

The two biggest names to keep an eye on are seniors Jaden Marchan of Leonia (21.55) and Malachi James of Burlington City (21.58). There is a very good chance that both of them will be taking the line seeking their second titles of the day since James (400) and James (55 dash) are big favorites to win their first events of the meet. 

There is also a strong possibility that we will see the meet record get shattered. Shamali Whittle of Hamilton North owns the meet record of 21.68, which he set in 2020, but with Marchan, James, and Jordaine Johnson of East Orange (21.65) all having run under that record time, it would be surprising if it's still standing after these guys clash.
