This was a season like no other. First, a thank you to all the athletes, coaches, meet directors, officials, parents, the NJSIAA, and everyone else who had a part in making this season of New Jersey cross country happen.
Despite a shortened season and some canceled state championship meets due to COVID-19 restrictions the community pulled together for multiple elite meets, a wide range of racing opportunities big and small, and NJSIAA Sectionals.
To guide our decisions we considered those who put together as complete of a season as they could, quality and consistency of performances, titles and victories, and head to head matchups. Keep in mind these teams were chosen following a season of extreme circumstances.
