This article features links to the week's results as well as any notes or coverage connected to them. Note the written highlights listed are meant as quick looks and will not feature every winner, for a deeper look take a look at the meet page elites and results.
If you have tips, videos, or photos involving elite performances from around the state, make sure to share them with us for potential posting! We can't be everywhere so if you have a video of a major performance we will gladly upload and tag the athlete accordingly as well as potentially feature the performance in an article.

STCA Season Opener Ocean Breeze
Multiple new NJ No. 1 performances opened the week at this meet! The Rumson-Fair Haven girls clocked a 12:24.80 in the DMR also ranking US No. 2. Results list teammates Izzy Rodriguez, Cassedy Stypul, Reese Reynolds Malone, and Clemmie Lilley (order unconfirmed) along with splits of 3:52.19, 59.52, 2:20.96, 5:12.14.
Andrew Jeremiah Boakye of Bergen Catholic ran 6:45 in the 55m dash for NJ No. 1, his teammate Matthew Peko won the 200m at 22.26 for NJ No. 2.
Piper Portacio of Immaculate Heart Academy won the 55m dash running 7.12 for NJ No. 1. Senior Colts Neck's Natalie O'Connor.
Gina Certo of Academy of the Holy Angels went NJ No. 2 / US No. 3 in the 400m running 55.65. She was also on the team's 4x200m (Livia Diakogiannis-Bonetti, Ella Buoncuore, Amaris Hiatt, Gina Certo) which recorded a 1:45.50 NJ No. 3.
Nyla Felton of Elizabeth won the 200m running 25.10, her best in season time as she already ranks NJ No. 3 based off her Nov. 30th performance of 24.89 at the Armory Your Season Opener. The Elizabeth boys 4x200m squad won with a NJ No. 3 time of 1:32.35.
In similar fashion to the Group 3 finish at the end of cross country, Colts Neck teammates Hunter Celkupa and Jay Adimala both recorded the same time at 4:21.16, ranking NJ No. 2 on the season, Michael Card of Howell wasn't far behind with a NJ No. 4 time of 4:21.74.
Spiked Shoe Holiday Festival
Luke Pash of Ridgewood HS took over the state lead in the 800m with a NJ No. 1 / US No. 4 time of 1:56.04! Piscataway Twp boys won the 4x200m with a 1:32.42 NJ No. 9. Michael Napolitano of Hasbrouck Heights moved to NJ No. 9 with his 6.55 in the 55m dash, Niles Thony of Piscataway Twp not far off at 6.57 NJ No. 11.
Caroline Ognibene of NV Old Tappan cleared the 5-2 bar to win the high jump and is now in an eight-way tie for NJ No. 7.
Isabella Formoso of Bergen County Tech and Jamie Kim of NV Old Tappan both cleared 11-0, good for NJ No. 5 this season. Kim went on to clear 11-0 again at the Coach Saint Invitational on December 20th.
Jordan Myers of Paramus HS made 17-6.5 in the long jump, good for NJ No. 8. Afua Anyadike of Bergen County Tech won the shot put with a mark of 40-3.5 and is now NJ No. 6.
Dick DeSchriver Invitational
There was a showdown in the shot put between Capp DeSheplo of West Morris Central, 60-2.5 NJ No. 2, and Peter Donini of Delbarton School, NJ No. 3 mark of 59-2.5.
Oak Knoll School senior Danya Spoor cleared 5-4 to win the high jump and moved to NJ No. 2.
Reagan Moore of Oak Knoll School won the 1600m running 5:07.43 NJ No. 5. Shreya Sathiyan of Morris Hills led the pole vault clearing 11-6 for NJ No. 3.
Peddie Winter Invitational
Rebel Shot/Field Series 2
Fiona Olsen of St. Rose cleared 5-0 to win the high jump. Alicia Nikishina of Howell won the long jump at 17-0. Dominic Prasad of Central Reg tied NJ No. 10 clearing 6-2, Brick Township's Gianni Campione cleared 6-0 for second.
Warriors Shot Put Meet #1
Antonio Giuliano of Watchung Hills Reg won the boys field at 50-03.5, NJ No. 15. Girls was won by Daberechi Ozokpor of Hillsborough at 33-07.
Bob James Invitational
Kajol Karra of Princeton HS won the 3200m with a time of 11:09.94, now NJ No. 3.
Sean Wilton of Princeton HS went 59-1 to win the shot put, now NJ No. 5. Julius Kinsler of West Windsor Plainsboro South won the boys 500m at 1:07.98.
Toms River Varsity Classic
Julia Santos of Toms River South threw 40-10 in the shot put, already ranks NJ No. 2 in the event with a 42-1 from December 11th, only six girls have gone over 40 feet this season. Camryn Thomas of Toms River North clocked an NJ No. 2 time of 7.58 to win the 55m hurdles.
Coach Saint Invitational
Owen Keating of Pompton Lakes cleared 15-06 in the pole vault, finishing second and NJ No. 1.
Bernards boys won the 4x800m running 8:09.18, now US No. 5 and NJ No. 2 only behind the national leading time of 8:02.16 by another New Jersey squad Chatham on December 11th. Bernard's Michael Dooley also cracked the top-15 national rankings for the 600m running 1:24.09 for second. His teammate John Richardson ran second in the mile at 4:26.52, converts to a 4:24.97 in the 1600m and NJ No. 5 on the combined list.
Katelyn Nolan of Pope John XXIII clocked a 2:59.68 in the 1000m, US No. 16. Pope John XXIII freshman Casey Carney recorded a 3:04.09 for eighth in that 1000m race for a quality double having also ran 58.70 to win the 400m which is NJ No. 5.
Jamie Kim of NV Old Tappan cleared 11-0 in the pole vault, now tied for NJ No. 5.
Essex County Track Coaches Assn. Season Opener Invite

Jordaine Johnson of East Orange Campus is now the national leader in the 200m as well as NJ No. 4 all-time indoors. The senior ran 21.09 on Friday at Ocean Breeze, his teammate Shakur Taylor in second at 21.70 for US No. 4. Taylor also won the 400m running 49.25 which is NJ No. 1 and US No. 10.
The Pt. Pleasant Boro boys 4x400m squad clocked a 3:25.78 for N.J. No. 1 and U.S. No. 9, teammates listed were Benjamin Scott, Christian Joule, Jack Gahagan, and Owen Brouder.
Professor Ceo of Manville HS cleared 6-6 in the high jump and is now tied for N.J. No. 3 and U.S. No. 15.
Abigail Hanemann of Pt. Pleasant Boro won the girls' 200m running 25.10 for N.J. No. 4.
Olympic Conference #1
Two boys cleared 6-0 in the high jump at this one, Samuel Green of Cherokee and Supreme Stradford of Cherry Hill West.
Paul Schwartz Invitational
Covenant Badmus of New Milford cleared 6-01 in the boys high jump now NJ No. 22, Hannah Belthoff of New Milford cleared 5-0 in the girls event tied NJ No. 16.
Tony Passarelli Invitational
Sarah Nacinovich of Chatham clocked 41.00 to win the 300m dash, NJ No. 3. Oak Knoll School won the Sprint Medley Relay with a time of 4:16.37, now NJ No. 2 / US No. 3. Danya Spoor of Oak Knoll School cleared 5-5 in the high jump to tie for NJ No. 1 with Union Catholic's Kiara Fleming and Ebony Turner of
Adam Petitjean of Chatham won the 1000m with a time of 2:34.35, takes over NJ No. 1 and US No. 15.
Alex Pelov of Montville Twp won the 3200m with a NJ No. 1 / US No. 6 time of 9:25.22, Chatham's Finn Valli was second in that race at 9:31.51 for NJ No. 2 / US No. 14, Randolph's Thomas Amato was third for NJ No. 3 / US No. 15 at 9:33.36, and the meet took over the entire top six for the state.
Peter Donini of Delbarton School won the shot put with a mark of 58-7.75, he already ranks US No. 7 thanks to his 59-2.5 from December 17th.
Bill Bruno Holiday Classic
Rumson-Fair Haven won the 4x400m running 4:07.37, now NJ No. 3. Leah Starkey of Ocean Township won the 1600m running 5:17.25.
Four girls cleared 5-2 or better at this meet led by the winning height of 5-4 by Ama Boateng of Edison HS. Boateng is now NJ No. 4 behind a three-way tie for the state lead at 5-5. Fiona Olsen of St. Rose, Isabella Alvarez nj of Pleasantville, and Alexandra Mueller of Howell all cleared 5-02 and are now tied for NJ No. 7.
Ayden Winters of Ocean Township hit a 54-10.25 to win the shot put, moves up to NJ No. 9.
Garfield HS Shot Put / High Jump Invitational #2
Volodymyr Kozliuk of Clifton HS won the high jump clearing 6-6, now NJ No. 3 on the season. Second in the event was Leighton Kelly of Glen Rock at 6-2, he is now in a 12-way tie for NJ No. 10.
Martina Ignacia Mejias Lee of Tenafly won the girls high jump at 5-3, is tied for NJ No. 5.
Albert Yodakis of Christian Brothers Academy won the shot put at 55-6.5, already ranks NJ No. 7 based on his indoor mark of 56-2.25 from opening day on the ninth of December.

JAMBAR Coaches Hall of Fame Invitational
SJTCA #4
We have a new state leading mark for the boys high jump after Jayden DeLeon of Highland Reg strengthened his NJ No. 1 status clearing 6-09, also US No. 6.
Marcus Hood of Deptford moved up to NJ No. 2 with his 15-0 indoor PR in the pole vault.
Jonathan Harris of Delsea improved his state leading shot put mark to 63-8.5, now US No. 2 and one of only five boys to go 60+ feet this indoor season US wide. Joining that short list of 60+ feet? Anthony Liakhnovich of Hammonton who was second with a mark of 60-2 for NJ No. 3 / US No. 5. New Jersey now with five boys in the top ten nationally!
Sianni Wynn of Pennsauken is now NJ No. 4 / US No. 6 in the girls 400m after her wining time of 56.17. Riley Fayer of Audubon won the 1600m with a NJ No. 6 time of 5:07.46.
Ella Karp of Washington Twp won the shot put with a mark of 40-11, is now NJ No. 3 / US No. 15 and one of only six girls to throw 40+ feet this season. Second in the shot put was Hannah Nuhfer of Delsea Regional with a NJ No. 7 throw of 39-8.
Marquis Taylor of Woodbury continues to roll, this week winning the 200m with a time of 21.82 now NJ No. 3 and US No. 10 as well as the 400m clocked at 49.32 good for NJ No. 2 and US No. 11. Should also be noted that Clearview Reg's Matthew Niedbalski was second in both those races with hot times as a well at 22.39 NJ No. 6 and 49.32 NJ No. 3 / US No. 14.
Deptford's boys 4x200m squad set a time of 1:32.21, move up to NJ No. 3.
Bishop Loughlin Games (Day 1) (NY)
Winslow Township had a day. Freshman Jasmine Jackson won the 300m with a NJ No. 1 / US No. 14 time of 40.07 after running 40.22 in prelims, her teammate Olivia Okaro hit a NJ No. 2 time of 40.87 in prelims, Tessa Hughes of Peddie School a 41.07.
Jackson also won the 55m hurdles with a NJ No. 2 / US No. 10 time of 8.16, Hughes of Peddie School was second at 8.39 and ranks NJ No. 5. Winslow's Okaro also won the 55m dash with a 7.25 now NJ No. 6.
Ma'Syiah Brawner jumped to the state lead in the triple jump with her winning mark of 38-6.25, Mackenzie Daly of Mount St Mary Academy was second at 37-1.5 NJ No. 2, and Winslow Twp's Chantina Walker was fourth with a 36-2.5 NJ No. 3 mark.
