Colts Neck Girls to NTN Pat Montferrat Nov 20, 2006

The newly crowned NJ State Champion Girls XC Team is headed to Oregon to compete in the Nike Team Nationals (NTN) on December 9. The Cougars received an automatic bid from the Northeast Region.
Said Colts Neck Head Coach Jim Schlentz, \"From the day we didn\'t get picked last year, the girls became so focused on this year\'s race that they could tell me each day how many days were left until this year\'s race.\".\"They made a big deal out of the day when it was 300, 200, and 100 to go. It was the focal point of going out each day in the summer. \"
Led by senior Ashley Higginson, MOC runnerup, Colts Neck capped off a steller season with their first ever All Groups title on Saturday at Holmdel Park.
