This afternoon\'s Cougar Invite along with the Maroon Classic up in Begen County kicks off a full weekend of action for NJ harriers. Today\'s action is followed by the Stewart Memorial at Warinanco Park and the South Jersey Hall of Fame meet at Gloucester CC.
The Cougar meet presents the potential for some excellent early season racing. Individually, Craig Forys, fresh off of his CR win at Penn State will square off against Brandon Jarrett of St. Benedicts, who may be the best runner not to be going to MOC, and Paul Springer of Unionville, PA (9:01, 3200m). NJ Top 10 teams Colts Neck, Jackson and St. Benedicts will do battle in the Boys Championship Race.
The Girls Championship Race will feature NJ #1 Colts Neck against #2 Pope John XXIII of Sparta. Other Top 10 teams in the race will be Red Bank Catholic and Jackson Memorial
