Some interesting notes heading into the Group Championships weekend.

The Ridge girls 4x800 team, Nakaja Weaver, and Collin McCarthy all finished first at Friday's meet in NY.  

Four NJ#1 performances were turned in at Saturday's meet at the NY Armory.

Congratulations on another fantastic season of New Jersey track and field. 

Union Catholic won the 4x400 for the 5th straight year. Ridge has won three straight 4x800's.

Highlighting some sophomores that could earn solid finishes or even wins in their events this weekend.

Some events have strong favorites and others are wide open, especially with key stars missing from the lineup.  

Leah Ellis smashed a state freshman record and several NJ#1 marks were turned in at the 85th annual meet.

It was a North 2 Group 4 sweep for the Ridge boys and girls. 

The Ridge girls have a school tradition of winning the 4x800m at MOCs, Hopewell Valley boys have also won the only two indoor titles.
