Highland Reg senior Grace Wassell enters her final high school season with three straight South Group 3 Sectional titles. She holds the leading returning time, 18:05.24, at DREAM Park by around three seconds. Abigail Waddington of Clearview Reg, who was second at Sectionals in 2021 ranks second overall at 18:08.19.
In all there are ten girls returning under 19 minutes: Lily Oliver, Aubrey Pierontoni, Anne Earp, Sofia Day, Shaelan McNally, Olivia Parkinson, Sabrina Miller, and Alexis Tepper also included.
