Nominee Highlights

  • Senior Premier Wynn of Pennsauken won the 400 hurdles in a NJ No. 2 52.68, finished first in the 400 in a NJ No. 5 48.50, and was second in the 200 in 21.70, also No. 5 in the state this season.
  • Junior Luke Schagelin of Morris Knolls ran a NJ No. 1 and school record 1:52.30, No. 5 in Morris County history, to win the 800 at the NJAC Large Schools Championships
  • Senior Rajahn Dixon of Eastern won the 200 in a NJ No. 1 21.40 and finished in the 100 in 10.91 at the Camden County Championships
  • Senior Nathaniel Rayan of Scotch Plains-Fanwood ran a NJ No. 1 time of 13.75, No. 5 in Union County history, to win the 110 hurdles in the Watchung Division at the Union County Conference Championships.
  • Senior Xavier Donaldson of Seton Hall Prep won the 400 in a NJ No. 1 47.13, No. 2 in Essex County history, and won the 100 in 10.91 at the Super Essex County Championships
  • Junior Conor Clifford of Christian Brothers Academy ran a NJ 1 4:13.74 to lead a 1-2-3 finish in the 1,600 at the Monmouth County Championships
  • Sophomore Liam Paneque of Old Tappan took over the state lead in the triple jump with a leap of 46-11.50, won the high jump with a PR of 6-4, and ran 14.95 to palace third in the 110 hurdles with a PR of 14.95 in th B Division at the Bergen County Championships.
  • Senior Al-Mubaraq Aderogba of Manchester Township leaped a NJ No. 1 23-8.50 in the long jump and and a NJ No. 3 46-5 in the triple jump to win both events at the Ocean County Championships

Nominee Highlights

  • Senior Cynthia Boakye of Elizabeth won the 400 in the Watchung Division with a NJ No. 1 time and meet record of 55.55 in the Watchung Division at the Union County Conference Championships
  • Junior Naylah Jones of Timber Creek won the 100 in a NJ No. 1 11.96, and the 200 in a NJ No. 2 24.64 at the Camden County Championships
  • Senior Brooke'lyn Drakeford of Piscataway won the 200 with a NJ No. 1 time of 24.53, and won the 100 hurdles in 14.56, which is NJ No. 3, at the GMC Red Division Championships
  • Junior Layla Giordano of Old Tappan broke her own Bergen County record by sending the discus soaring a NJ No. 1 153-1, and unloaded the shot put 45-6, No. 2 in NJ this season, in the B Division at the Bergen County Championships.
  • Sophomore Taylor Cox of Union Catholic won the 100 hurdles in 13.95 (she is the state leader at 13,87) and finished first in the 400 hurdles in 1:03.22, No. 4 in NJ this season, in the Watchung Division at the Union County Conference Championships
  • Senior Adannia Agbo of Morris Hills soared 39-0.50 to win the triple jump, which is No. 2 in the state this season, won the long jump with a big PR of 18-0, and was second in the 100 dash in 12.85 at the NJAC Large School Championships.
  • Sophomore Gina Certo of Holy Angels won the 400 with a NJ No. 2 time of 55.76, placed first in the 200 with a NJ No. 7 time of 24.91 and was second in the 100 in 12.29 in the E Division at the Bergen County Championships. 
  • Junior Alexandria Scott of St. John Vianney won the 400 hurdles in 1:02.20, the No. 2 time in the state this season, finished first in the long jump with a PR of 17-8.50, and was fourth in the 400 with a PR of 58.31 at the Monmouth County Championships.
