Congrats to the 13 teams (there was one tie) that grinded through a very long day both mentally and physically to be crowned State Group Champions on Saturday.
Among the winners was a historic victory by the Union Catholic girls, first ever championships for six teams - the Elizabeth, Wilberforce, Timber Creek and Hasbrouck Heights girls, and theDemarest and Chatham boys, and CBA extended its state record 25 titles.
As we do each year at NJ MileSplit, we put together a list of all the team champs with their photos. We are still seeking a team photo of Willingboro and Wilberforce, so please send us one so we can add those to this article.
