Boys Team Predictions

Group 1

Kellert | Metuchen ran strong at Central Sectionals and should continue their winning streak at Groups.

Montferrat | The 5th man makes the difference and sees Metuchen winning over McNair.

Stranieri | Should be close between Shore Regional, Metuchen and Mountain Lakes, but I'll take Metuchen.

Group 2

Kellert | Haddonfield didn't miss a step when Derek Gess had to drop out last week at Sectionals. This team's tradition of success and next man up mentality will take them to another title here.

Montferrat | Even without Gess the Dawgs are solid one through five. Look for Holmdel to edge Voorhees for second behind Haddonfield's win.

Stranieri | On paper, should be a three-way team battle between Holmdel, Voorhees and Haddonfield. I'll take Haddonfield.

Group 3

Kellert | Mendham impressed me last week, let's roll with it at Groups and see if this is for real.

Montferrat | Hopewell Valley bounces back from Sectional shocker. Watch for Gould's guys (WWPNorth) to surprise for second.

Stranieri | Meredith should lead Hopewell Valley to a rebound from last week and win this week.

Group 4

Kellert | Kingsway boys were winners on and off the course last week at South Sectionals. We finally got to see the full squad in action and they look ready for battle at Groups and beyond.

Montferrat | Kingsway is the best public school team in New Jersey... period.

Stranieri | Will be an epic battle between Princeton and Kingsway. I'll take Princeton given their experience, but Kingsway could win, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

NPA

Kellert | It could be a different version of the arsenal we'll see at MOCs but the point in that statement is we'll see them at MOCs.

Montferrat | The emergence of Hill at the front elevates them. Comfortable win here.

Stranieri | CBA.

NPB

Stranieri | MKA over Mater Dei in a close one.
