Here are the final overall Holmdel rankings for both teams and individuals. Along with those 2019 statistics we also have returner rankings heading into the 2020 season.
On the girls side... North Hunterdon leads the 2019 rankings both as a team and individually.
Chloe Gonzalez threw down the fastest Holmdel time of the season back at the Shore Coaches Invitational when she led the meet running 17:45, which ranks sixth all-time in course history. Just behind her on the list from that same meet - Camryn Wennersten at 17:47 and Charlotte Bednar 18:00.
North Hunterdon averaged 18:59 with their season bests at Holmdel, and rank third among returning squads into next season averaging 19:36.
The Ridgewood girls, second at the Meet of Champions this year, return their ENTIRE squad in 2020 and are statistically the top returning team. With five sophomores and two juniors we'll be seeing this crew for a long time coming. They carry a 19:03 returning average into next season.
For the boys... Christian Brothers Academy remained on top in 2019 and looks strong once again heading into 2020. When taking away their seniors their 2019 average only goes from a 16:09 to a 16:37! West Windsor Plainsboro North and Ridge also looking strong for next fall.
On the individual side Mendham's Jack Jennings led at Holmdel Park this year with his big Group 3 win of 15:19 ahead of the 15:21 by Allentown's Liam Murphy. There were 11 boys who broke 16 minutes this season, two of those boys return in 2020 including Group 4 State Champ Jackson Braddock of Southern Regional at 15:49 and Jackson Barna of Ridge who posted a 15:55.
