This Week's Nominees:
Stella Blanchard, The Wilberforce School (New Jersey): Clocked 53.85 to win the 400 at The Winner's Circle at The Horse Farm, topping a field of 22 runners. The #1 junior in New Jersey in the event, she posted the fastest 400 time of the week among all competitors.
Alexandra Klein, Shore Regional HS (New Jersey): Won the 1600 at The Winner's Circle at The Horse Farm in 4:48.06, pulling away from a competitive field of 63 runners. The #5 junior in the state turned in the week's top time in the event.
Aubrey Devers, Union Catholic Reg. HS (New Jersey): Posted 2:10.85 to capture the 800 at The Winner's Circle at The Horse Farm, leading a field of 35 athletes. The time was the fastest 800 of the week and strengthens her position as the #8 junior in New Jersey.
Anna Casciano, Hun School of Princeton (New Jersey): Swept the throwing events at the East Coast Track and Field Championships with marks of 43-4.25 in the shot put and 125-0 in the discus. She won both competitions convincingly, taking the shot put over four other throwers and the discus against five competitors.
Brianna Growalt, Atlantic County Tech (New Jersey): Captured two events at the East Coast Track and Field Championships, running 14.03 in the 100m hurdles and 56.03 in the 400. Her hurdles time was the week's fastest and maintains her spot as the top junior in New Jersey, while her 400 victory came against 25 other runners.
