New Jersey Boys Performer of the Week (Jun. 8-14)

After another week of track & field action in New Jersey, it's time to vote for the MileSplit New Jersey boys performer of the week.

Note: Athletes who have been nominated in the past two weeks are not eligible. Previous winners are excluded for the rest of the season.

This Week's Nominees:

Brody Watt, Bernards HS (New Jersey): Clocked a 4:08.51 in the 1600 at The Winner's Circle at The Horse Farm.

Christopher Velez, Spotswood HS (New Jersey): Won the 400 at the East Coast Track and Field Championships in 48.22, capturing the title in a field of 51 runners.

Quincy Pearson, Union Catholic Reg. HS (New Jersey): Swept both horizontal jumps at The Winner's Circle at The Horse Farm, winning the triple jump with a leap of 48-4.5. He also took first in the long jump at 22-3.

Jaden Goins, Pemberton Township HS (New Jersey): Turned in a strong sprint double at the East Coast Track and Field Championships, winning the 200 in 21.83 and placing fourth in the 100 with an 11.08 clocking.

Lucian Caracciolo, Columbia HS (New Jersey): Posted a winning throw of 180-6 in the javelin at the East Coast Track and Field Championships. He added a third-place finish in the long jump at 21-1.
