Championship Race

Senior Liliah Gordon of Northern Burlington ran to fourth overall in the Championship Eastern States race clocking a blazing time of 14:41.

Kajol Karra of Princeton HS ran to 23rd with a time of 15:34.3, the seventh fastest among all New Jersey times combined at this meet. Karra's performance led Princeton to a fourth-place finish as a team scoring 134 points and averaging 15:57.4.

Jazlyne Aguilera of BelovED Community Charter was the lone New Jersey representative who finished 94th with a time of 21:35.9.

Dominique Cameron of Leonia HS ran to third in this race with a time of 15:18.7. Her team was ninth with an average of 18:34.9.

Riley Austin was fifth individually at 15:38.3 and jump-started the Haddonfield scoring attack which would eventually finish fourth scoring 124 points and average 16:45.6. 

The top New Jersey team in Varsity C was Paul VI however, scoring 112 points and averaging 16:37.5. They were led by sophomore Grace Gutowski clocked at 15:55.7 finishing ninth individually.

Red Bank Catholic finished fifth with 155 points and a 17:04.4 average, they were led by Charlotte Heaton running 16:12. Oak Knoll School was 10th as a team with 296 points.

Varsity D

Ocean City had a big team win here with 59 points and a 16:10.2 average, second place Middletown South scored 107 with a 16:43.8 average. 

Maeve Smith led Ocean City in second running 15:02.3, she was also the second fastest New Jersey performer of the meet. 

Middletown South was led by Amelia Pattwell, the third fastest New Jersey time of Manhattan, finishing fifth at 15:12.8. 

Peddie School's Matilda Kardhashi finished 17th individually with a time of 16:32.3. 

Trinity Hall scored 12th as a team with an average of 18:38.9. They were led by Steele Summers at 16:40.0.

Kaitlyn Hathaway and Logan Rettino kicked off a race-winning performance for Rumson-Fair Haven finishing 1-2 individually with times of 15:23.6 and 15:27.6. With that start the Rumson-Fair Haven girls scored 85 points averaging 16:41.8.

Williamstown finished ninth as a team averaging 18:37.4, they were led by junior Sophia Aldridge running 12th with a time of 16:47.8. 

Hackensack was also 15th in this race as a team averaging 20:03.6 led by Claudia Ortega at 18:32.1.

Intermediate Highlights

Community MS finished second as a team with 82 points averaging 11:02.5 over the 1.5-mile course, Elizabeth was fourth with 125 points and averaging 11:21.3.

Individually Anita Bhatia of Community MS, third at 10:23.1, and Rumaysah Muhammad of BeloED Community Charter, eighth at 10:42.1, both finished top ten for New Jersey.
