O'Sullivan clearing 16-00.25 as a junior in 2021 to win the Central Group 4 Sectionals.
Hillsborough HS senior Brian O'Sullivan cleared a US No. 1 vault of 16-05 during the opening week Coach Saint Invitational in New York.
Not only is that an early season national leading performance it also moves O'Sullivan to third all-time in New Jersey indoor high school history.

With plenty of time still to chase higher bars O'Sullivan is only behind state record holder Bill Lange of Bridgewater East who soared to a state record 17-0 in 1980 and Bradley Jelmert of Watchung Hills who cleared 16-10 as a senior in 2020 on the all-time indoor state list.
The star vaulter is an indoor Meet of Champions winner, Group 4 State Champ, and cleared 16-3 outdoors this past July. O'Sullivan signed to compete and study at Rutgers University after the conclusion of his high school career.
