Everything you need to know for the 2026 Indoor NJSIAA Sectional Track and Field Championships, including live streams, results, and order of events.

The Sectional Championships all take place at the Toms River "Bubble", also known as the Rothman Orthopaedic Sports Complex at the John Bennett Athletic Center (Directions).

Spectators looking to attend the meet in person, note that NJSIAA event tickets are ordered online at https://www.njsiaa.org/tickets.

Live Streams & Results

The live stream will primarily focus on the track events with commentary highlighting the action. Select field events will have video recordings uploaded after the meets when possible.

How to Advance & Awards

Advance to Groups

A contestant must qualify in the Sectional Meet by placing in one of the first six (6) places for each event. All ties for Sixth (6th) Place will advance.

Awards

Trophy and 35 certificates for the 1st place team in each group, in each section.

Medals to the top six (6) places in each event.

Points Scoring

Teams earn points toward the standings by placing top six in events.

1st - 10 pts / 2nd - 8 pts / 3rd - 6 pts

4th - 4 pts / 5th - 2 pts / 6th - 1pt

Independent Athletes

Note that Independent athletes will be skipped for medals and team scoring purposes if they place in the top six. They are there only to compete for advancement to the Group Championships.
