Bryce Tucker Of Pennsauken Commits To Rutgers

Bryce Tucker of Pennsauken, one of New Jersey's top recruits and one of the state's most versatile track and field athletes, made his college commitment on Monday.

The winner is.....Rutgers!!!

As a junior last spring, Tucker placed fourth in the 400 hurdles in 53.01 at the New Balance Nationals, and came back the next day to win his second straight Meet of Champions 400 IH title in 53.57. Tucker, whose PR of 52.17 came when he won the 400 hurdles at the 2021 M of C, could become the first boy to ever win three straight M of C titles in the IH next year.

Tucker also ran a personal best of 14.22 in the 100 HH trials at the Meet of Champions last June before placing third in the final in 14.27. At the indoor M of C last winter, Tucker ran 7.53 in the 55 hurdles to place second behind East Brunswick's Christ Serrao, who is currently a freshman at Rutgers.

In addition to his great hurdling skills, Tucker also has PR's of 48.23 in the 400, which came when he finished fourth at the Nike Indoor National Championships last March, and 1:55.00 in the 800.

Congrats, Bryce!!!
