The Colts, ranked No. 1 in NJ, extended one of the greatest streaks in U.S. high school history in any sport when they opened its dual meet season on Wednesday at CBA in Lincroft by defeating Middletown North, 20-42, to run its remarkable national record dual meet winning streak to 372 in a row!

CBA hasn't lost a dual meet since Raritan dealt the Colts a 15-49 loss on Oct. 20, 1973.

That's not a misprint - CBA hasn't lost a dual in 47 years!

CBA began the streak with a 15-50 victory over Marist on Sept. 19, 1974, and has been streaking ever since.

The streak climbed to 372 when the Colts jammed seven runners in the top nine to secure the victory.

After junior Connor Kinch of Middletown North finished first in 15:27, CBA's swarmed across the line by taking the next six places. Senior Daniel DeMasi led the charge for the Colts by finishing second in 15:44.

The remainder of CBA's scoring five consisted of freshman Jack Falkowski (16:08), sophomore Matt Mastroly (16:19), junior Kyle Hill (16:24), and senior John Gearon (16:53).
