The Garden State Track Club has put together a Fall High School Showcase series in an effort to give athletes more racing opportunities. This all kicks off September 19th in Edison, NJ with an elite high school 5K field and more. NJ MileSplit will be at this opening meet to livestream and capture the action.

The series will hold four more events through November 28th. Meet Director and GSTC Founder Chuck Schneekloth stated, "the goal here is to supplement the cross country season with meaningful race opportunities for college-bound runners in need of FAT times."
The entries for September 19th feature some of New Jersey's brightest distance stars, many ranked in our top 20 preseason individuals, and will also bring in some National level talent out of New York. The morning also opens with the start of a nationwide club competition series called the Quarantine Games.

Races held on the track at Thomas Edison Park in Edison, NJ. No spectators.
- 7:30am - GSTC 8K Heat #1
- 8:15am - GSTC 8K Heat #2
- 9:00am - Elite HS Girls 5k
- 9:30am - Elite HS Boys 5k
- 10:00am - GSTC Youth 3k
- 10:30am - GSTC 500m Time Trial
The 8K events are the start of the Quarantine Games, created by the GSTC, which will run for nine meets in a nationwide competition between clubs like Georgetown RC, Bowerman TC, Cal Coast, Boulder TC, Atlanta TC, LRC Nebraska, and more.
Series Schedule: 9/19 (5k), 10/10 (5k), 10/31 (3k), 11/14 (5k), 11/28 (1600m+800m)
Safety: In terms of safety the meet has stated that all runners must take a COVID test the week of the race, no spectators other than immediate family, no sharing of water, and so on.
