Anytime Alyssa Wilson Steps Into the Throwing Circle
As the header reads any time Alyssa Wilson of Donovan Catholic comes out to compete a record could fall, big or small. She already holds the facility record of 56-2.5 which was thrown recently on January 11th at the Ocean County Championships. The throw was even more meaningful than that however as she became just the second girl in US high school history to break 56 feet in the shot put. Now only inches away from the national record of 56.7.5 set by Raven Saunders in 2014. This, as with every one of her coming throws this season, could be your best chance to see a national record in person.
