Meet Instructions and Heat Sheets
CBA will be hosting a small throws meet with the intention of improving upon prior qualifying marks or hitting the Penn Relays standard. CBA's recently constructed, state-of-the-art facility will serve as the best possible venue for these marks to occur. Shot will be contested in two of the four available circles. Javelin will be contested on a runway. Discus will be contested in the center of the track.
Where: Christian Brothers Academy, 850 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738
When: Monday, April 3rd 2023 @ 4 PM (rain dates 4/4, 4/5)
What: Shot, disc, javelin-4 throws each, no finals, maximum of 15 entries per gender per event
(one flight for girls, one flight for boys in each event)

Boys javelin
Boys and girls shot
Girls discus
Boys discus
Cost: $20 per entry
Checks payable to Christian Brothers Academy
Minimum Standards
(anyone who has yet to achieve these standards in outdoor 2022/indoor 2023 will
be deleted from the entry)
Boys shot: 50 feet (Penn standard 55-4)
Boys disc: 145 feet (Penn standard 160-9)
Boys javelin: 150 feet (Penn standard 177-2)
Girls shot: 35 feet (Penn standard 40-0)
Girls disc: 105 feet (Penn standard 123-0)
Girls javelin: 105 feet (Penn standard 121-5)
