2012 NJ High School XC Rankings Poll
The much awaited start of the 2012 New Jersey Cross Country season is less than a week away and like most fans, I cannot wait for that first gun at the Randolph Invitational on Friday night. As with every year, we don't know for sure what will happen but we're going to follow the action right up to the MOC in November and beyond.
NJRunners' panel of experts presents, for the 7th year, the XC Rankings Poll - Preseason edition. We all know that State Championships are not awarded based on polls, but are earned by racing hard and smart throughout the season. Our weekly rankings serve to recognize the great performances and spotlight the achievements of the top teams and runners. Our rankings will also, hopefully, generate some healthy discussion and debate on how the season unfolds. The Top ten lists submitted by our viewers will be published this week, starting Tuesday.
