Bryanna Craig, the defending Meet of Champions winner, has moved to Texas. She would have been tied for fourth among returning heights at 5-06.
However Carly Tarentino of A. L. Johnson, who finished second at 5-06 based on attempts, is coming back and is second on this list with an indoor PR of 5-06.5 from her Union County Championships victory. Tarentino cleared a height of 5-06 or more five times last winter and was also earned a silver medal at the 2019 outdoor Meet of Champions.
The leading overall height coming back for 2021 is a 5-08 clearance held by Madison Cappuccio of Barnegat Township. She set the PR while winning the South Group 2 Sectional title before her season coming to an end missing out on Groups and Meet of Champs. She won the outdoor Group 2 state high jump title in 2019.
Also watch out for freshman Alanna Woolfolk, she cleared 5-06.25 at the USATF Development Meet last January as an eight grader.
