Salute to Seniors: Noelle L. Scott of Eastern Regional HS

Salute To Seniors is a medium for "senior farewells". We invited the 2020 seniors to tell their stories from the past four years. With the loss of the spring season we hope we can offer a chance to reflect on all the great moments this class did get to experience. Thank you to everyone who submitted, we are closing up the series and still have a few in queue to be posted.

What was your most memorable race?

My most memorable moment would definitely be my first hurdle race my sophomore year. I won the race and really gained some confidence in that event.

If you were writing a letter to your freshmen self, what are some items that would include?

If I wrote a letter to my freshman self I would say explore every event on the track as well as field events.

What will you miss the most?

I will miss my coaches so much. Each coach, both on the men's and women's side, were always willing to help me on and off the track and I am so grateful for all their support.

Name the top New Jersey XCTF moment(s) you have witnessed.

I think the top New Jersey track and field moment would be last year's state shuttle hurdle race where we set a school and state meet record!

What are your post-high school or college plans?

I will be attending Rider University to continue my academic and athletic career. I will be studying biochemistry with a pre-med focus.

Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?

I would like to thank all my track and field coaches and teammates. I would also like to thank all of the officials who kept me laughing in the paddock.
