Any returning 5K time in the database from the 2018 cross country season is utilized in this ranking, so as always with cross country stats keep in mind that some courses are faster than others.
Despite some differences in course types this is still a good look at the team by team returner situations, this allows full returning individuals from those squads to be listed in case they weren't on a specific course or in their top seven last fall. For the most part, with a few exceptions, the top teams will still be easily found toward the top of the list.
