On a beautiful Saturday in San Diego four New Jersey Foot Locker finalists hit the course to challenge some of the very best in the nation.
Devin Hart of Pt Pleasant Boro had the best finish out of all of them with his 10th place 15:45 run to achieve All-American status. He is New Jersey's first All-American boy at Foot Locker since Liam Mullett in 2013. This caps off a remarkable junior season for the NJSIAA Meet of Champions winner and he picked up plenty of national level experience for next fall, he is the fifth fastest returner from the Foot Locker Nationals results.
The individual championship was won by Dylan Jacobs of Illinois with a time of 15:19.
McNair Academic's Fahd Nasser and Brick Township's Damien Dilcher both made the top 25. Nasser ran 15:57 for 18th and Dilcher 16:10 running 25th, both athletes are seniors and closed out their high school cross country careers.
In the girls competition junior Abby Loveys of Randolph finished 33rd with a time of 18:59. This was her first experience with Regional and National competition during the fall season.
