Christian Brothers Academy took on the talent filled and in general packed Eastern States race Saturday during the Manhattan Invitational.
After the dust settled New Jersey's #1 ranked team earned themselves their first Eastern State victory since 2013 with a score of 202 points. They were led by Brian Hill in 11th clocking in at 12:42 on the 4K layout. His performance started what would become a 13:12 team average and a 47 second split as the rest of the Colts squad sealed the win.
CBA wasn't 100% during the race either missing key athletes such as Patrick Kilcooley who came up big at Bowdoin in September as well as Drake Anzano and Noah Yuro who have yet to race this season. Their depth stepped up and performed well under pressure.
