East Orange Campus earned gold in the Suburban division 4x400 meter last night at the Millrose Trials running 3:20.84! That now pushes them to US#2 on the season, US#1 came from this same meet as Huntington (NY) ran 3:20.71 in the Long Island division. Their splits were 51.40, 49.97, 50.56, and 48.91 with Corey Poole on anchor.
In the girls mile Briana Gess placed third with a time of 4:55.11, that is NJ#2 US#6 on the 1600m converted list. This was the first we've seen of Gess this indoor season, a great way to open the year individually. Ciara Roche, our current 1600 state leader, was 5th with 4:57.69 and Rachel Suss 12th with 5:06.99.

For the boys Drake Anzano moved to NJ#3 running 4:22.04 finishing fourth. Brendan McGill and Robert Whitney of Voorhees finished eighth and ninth with times of 4:27.60 and 4:28.81 respectively. Joey DeFeo of Delbarton just behind them in tenth with 4:29.42.
Some other highlights... Ayodele O'Uhuru of Pascack Hills tied her NJ#2 time of 7.33 for third in the 55 meter dash. Jessica Molina moved to NJ#1 US#5 in the weight throw with a mark of 54-4.75 for second.
