Colts Neck stand out and senior Riley Leder has been going after the steeple this season, at the New York Relays on April 20th he ran a 6:21.63 to place first in the 2000m Steeple Chase. On Saturday at the TCNJ Lions Invitational Leder laid down a fantastic time of 9:43.67 in the 3000m Steeple, which is well under the qualifying standard for Outdoor Nationals and a US#3 time! This time also set the Colts Neck school record for the event.
Leder will be attending Hofstra University next fall, he signed with them on March 20th. He closed out indoor with a solid 4:23.32 at Groups for 4th, and at Meet of Champs he hit a 4:28.24 for 20th in the 1600m. His last race of indoor came at the 79th Eastern States Champs in the mile with a time of 4:28.16 placing 8th. Riley Leder MileSplit Personal Bests
