Nike Cross Nationals Individuals - Regionals Recap Here

This meet is taking place Saturday December 3rd in Portland, OR. The top five individuals in each race qualify along with the two top teams in the standings. New Jersey is sending four individual qualifiers this year with three boys and one girl. All four of them are making their first ever NXN appearance.

Jordan Brannan - SR - Colts Neck

This is Brannan's first career NXN appearance and he earned it by finishing second overall at the regional meet running 15:51. That totals to eight straight top five finishes this season, including some pretty talented championship meets, most of those coming in at second and third. He also dropped a good 20 seconds off his course PR here which he ran back in September at 16:11.

Alex Roth - SR - Princeton

Roth is making his first Nationals appearance thanks to his fourth place regional run of 15:56. That improved upon his PR at Bowdoin Park which he ran this season set at 16:19. Earlier this season Roth helped lead his team to a state championship at MOCs placing third with a 15:54 at Holmdel Park.

Davis Rosas - SR - Don Bosco

This is Rosas' first Nationals appearance after earning that final qualifying spot placing fifth at regionals with a 15:59. That time is a 27 second course PR which he set last year at regionals running 16:26. Rosas has had a great senior season, highlighted with a Non-Public A state championship.

Chloe Wong - JR - Hillsborough

Chloe Wong has had a breakout junior year and qualified for her first NXN meet. She improved her Bowdoin Park PR by just under a minute running 18:43 to finish fourth at regionals. Just the week before she had finished seventh at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions.
