What to Watch!

Aliyah Taylor of Pemberton has run herself to a NJ#1 ranking so far this State Season. Her 7.11 last weekend to win Group 2 took over the state lead. Second seed Ayodele O'Uhuru of Pascack Hills also in that race with a 7.14 tied for NJ#2.

The other NJ#2 athlete is Kaitlin Salisbury who posted a 7.14 in a Group 1 race all alone with a .29 lead! Also to not be ignored here is Kiara Lester, Bria Mack, Abby Collins...

Prediction!

I'm going with Kaitlin Salisbury of Hawthorne here. She may be ranked NJ#2 and seeded second but her time came in a heat where she was running out front without others pushing her. This is also the only event she is concentrating on this season which could come into play not only from a training stand point but also if Aliyah Taylor goes after the 400 meter earlier in the meet. Winning time of 7.12.
