Brian O'Sullivan's full series in the pole vault during Group 4 State Relay Championships including his attempts at the New Jersey state record of 17-0! The Hillsborough HS senior is heading to Rutgers University next fall.
Hillsborough won the Pole Vault Relay at Group 4 State Relays, which combines heights of two person teams, with a total of 25-06. O'Sullivan clearing 16-6 and his teammate Daniel Tobia 9-0.
O'Sullivan is US No. 4 this season and ranks third all-time indoors for the New Jersey high school pole vault. His season best of 16-06.25 which came during the Skyland Conference Indoor Championships on January 8th.
New Jersey only seen two high school vaulters clear higher bars indoors than O'Sullivan. Bradley Jelmert is second all-time with his 16-10 in 2020 and Bill Lange has held the state record of 17-0 since 1980.
