THIS IS THE SAME AS LAST YEAR- Coaches cannot enter their own seeds. Seeds will be done by Milesplit using both indoor and outdoor times as recorded on Milesplit. In addition, we will not be doing conversions from one event to another. ie: coaches cannot ask to have the Purdy chart used to create a 1600 time from and 800 meter time etc.. If your athlete does not have a seed time from either the indoor or outdoor season they must run as UNSEEDED. This is the same thing the state is does as well.
Coaches may not make changes to their roster, or to the six computer names in individual events or to the eight names in the relays events after Midnight on April 27th. Athletes' names must be entered in all events in Milesplit.
This means that there will be no name changes or additions to rosters at the meet on May 2nd, as well!
NO teams or athletes will be added at the meet, to an event, once the sheets have been turned into the computer people. The EVENT IS CLOSED AT THAT POINT! So don't wait until the last minute to highlight your athletes!
LIMITED ENTRIES:
Schools will be allowed a maximum of three competitors per event and one 1600 meter relay team per school on the day of the meet.
Running Events:
Coaches can enter up to 6 athletes per event in individual events (3 will serve as alternates), and 8 athletes per relay (4 will serve as alternates).
Coaches MUST HIGHLIGHT the three athletes in individual events and 4 per athletes per relay on the day of the meet, prior to the clerks declaring the event closed for seeding purposes. Any athlete or relay team not hightlighted prior to seeding will be scratched.
Field Events:
Will be done on sheets and tablets, except for the Pole Vault. Cards and tablet will be used in the Pole Vault .
