H.C.I.A.L. CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS Saturday October 26th, 2024- 12:00 PM Start Bayonne Park, Bayonne NJ - Rain or Shine
ENTRY INFORMATION
The entry deadline is Thursday October 24th, 2024.
All entries must be scanned and sent electronically to Meet Director Maurice Bell at: Vipertimingnj@gmail.com

NFHS & NJSIAA Rules will govern this event
Varsity & J.V. athletes will race 5000m
Freshman athletes will race 3200m.
There will be no race announcements. Teams should report to the starting line 10 minutes prior to assigned start time and check-in with clerk to verify number of competitors.
The starter / timer will be instructed not to hold the start of any events for late check-ins. Races will not run ahead of schedule.
There are NO starting line assignments. Positions are first come first serve.
In the event of inclement weather or hazardous conditions, the Meet Director may change the order of events to ensure that Varsity H.C.I.A.L. Champions are crowned.
Order of Events
Freshman Boys- 12:00 PM.
Freshman Girls- 12:30 PM
Varsity Boys- 1:00 PM
Varsity Girls- 1:30 PM
Junior Varsity Boys-2:00 PM
Junior Varsity Girls- 2:30 PM
Awards
HCIAL Championship Plaques will be awarded to the Varsity and Freshman team winners
Individual medals awardedas follows:
Top 20 Varsity Finishers
Top 10 JV Finishers
Top 10 Freshman Finishers
NOTES:
Individual medals will be award at the Finish Line. Team Champions will be crowned at the conclusion of the event.
Teams must compete with a full varsity team in order to be eligible for the J.V. race. (5 on the line)
Course Directions
Coaches are responsible for his/her athletes knowing the course prior to the start of competition. There is no formal walk through on race day. If you are unfamilier with the course, please inform the Meet Director and Mr. Bell will contact one of the coaches who practice at Bayonne Park to give you a walkthrough as a professional courtesy.
