Last Chance XC Championships

Sunday, November 17, 2024 | Oak Ridge Park

The Last Chance XC Championships is the perfect opportunity to PR on the fastest 5k course in New Jersey: Oak Ridge Park. With a double-loop, pancake flat course, cheering crowds, loud music, oversized medals, personalized bibs, and free action pictures, runners will have no choice but to PR.

There will be three team champions crowned: boys (3/team), girls (3/team), and co-ed (4/team: 2 boys, 2 girls). Times, not places, will determine team results, Schools that enter more than three runners will be assigned teams based on finish times (top 3 = A Team, Next 3 = B Team, etc).

Since November 17 is the last day of the NJSIAA cross country season, this is a sanctioned high school event by the NFHS. No clubs are allowed in the high school 5k races.

Meet Schedule

10:00am - Open/Club 5k/ USATF-NJ 8k XC Championships (men & women)

11:15am - 400m Dash

11:20am - HS Girls 5k (NJSIAA/NFHS Sanctioned)

11:50pm - HS Boys 5k (NJSIAA/NFHS Sanctioned)

12:15pm - Youth 3k (Grades 3-8)

Awards

Medals to top 30 in each race 5k race

Awards to three team champions: Boys, Girls, Coed

Entry Information

$20 Runner

$50 Boys, Girls, or Coed HS Team

$250 Unlimited/gender

$500 Unlimited/both genders

Entries are due Tuesday, November 12th at 11:59pm through either Milesplit or RunSignUp Event Page. After entry is complete, either bring payment to meet or send to:
