LJ/TJ Update:
In order to be able to pre-flight the LJ and TJ, we have limited the ability to enter your athletes in this event to 3. If you have already entered more than 3, kindly please select your 3 athletes for the event, and remove any extra athletes. Note, this is only being done for the LJ and TJ to assist in helping those events to run more efficiently given the use of only 1 pit. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know.

 Welcome to the 2022 edition of the Burlington County Open Track and Field Championships. This is the oldest track meet in South Jersey, dating back to 1929. A special thanks goes out to the Rancocas Valley Regional High School Board of Education for providing its fine facilities for this championship meet. 

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. MEET ENTRY FORM MUST BE COMPLETED AND MAILED ALONG WITH PAYMENT TO THE MEET DIRECTOR. DEADLINE FOR THIS IS MAY 4th.

  2. TEAM MUST ALSO BE ENTERED ON MILESPLIT AND INDIVIDUALS MUST BE ENTERED INTO EACH EVENT IN WHICH THEY WILL PARTICIPATE. COACH MAY ENTER UP TO 3 INDIVIDUALS PER EVENt. 

  3. RELAY EVENTS - ENTER UP TO 8 NAMES WITH 4 RUNNING IN THE MEET.

  4. MILESPLIT ENTRIES WILL CLOSE AT 6:00 pm ON THURSDAY 5/14/2022. NO CHANGES PERMITTED AFTER THIS TIME.

  5. IF AN INDIVIDUAL OR RELAY IS NOT ENTERED ON MILESPLIT - THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPETE.

MEET PROCEDURES

  1. Cards will only be used for the Pole Vault and the High Jump. All other events will be preseeded and coaches will check in with the officials to determine who will be representing their school. 

  2. Uniforms must be worn at all times for gate control personnel to allow competitors free access to and from the stadium. 

  3.  In the 100 meter dash and 100/110 meter high hurdles, there will be trials and finals with 8 finalists decided by FAT.

  4. All other track events will be finals on time with the seeded heat running last.

  5.  In the field events: Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus and Javelin - 3 attempts and 8 advance to finals.

  6. All first throws will be measured in the Shot, Discus, and Javelin. However, the second and third throws must meet the following standards: BOYS GIRLS SHOT 39'0" 27'0" DISCUS 110'0" 80'0" JAVELIN 125'0" 78'0" 

  7. All first jumps in LJ and TJ will be measured. All jumps after that must meet the following standards to be measured: BOYS GIRLS LJ 18' 15' TJ 38' 29'.

  8. Starting heights in the pole vault and high jump will be determined by the information supplied on the milesplit entry.

  9. Good luck to all coaches and participants! This meet is conducted under the rules and regulations of New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association and The Burlington County Scholastic League.
