Meet Information
You may enter an "A" and "B" team in each track event, but no more than 2 teams. The field events will all be two man relays with "A" and "B" teams allowed in all the throwing and jumping events.
Medals to top 6 teams in each event. In addition, top 3 Varsity "B" (JV) teams will get medals. They will be seeded in with the varsity races.
No more than 2 heats for each gender in the DMR and 4x800. We will use a two-turn stagger for the 1st lap.
The fastest 3 seeded heats for the SMR and 4x400 will start in lanes. The rest will have 9-10 and use a 1-turn stagger.
No team titles, no divisions just great competition.
The cost is $16.00 for track relays and $10.00 for field relays with a $250. max for a boys or girls team. Payable to: Colts Neck Track. Send entries to Jim Schlentz, Colts Neck HS, 59 Five Points Rd, Colts Neck, NJ 07722 or fax to (732) 761-0193.
Entries are due Friday, March 30th, 2007.
NJSIAA rules will be followed.
All equipment shall be supplied by participating schools including all throwing implements, starting blocks, batons, and safety pins. 1/4" spikes only.
Refreshments will be sold at the meet.
A final time schedule will be included in your packet at the meet after we get all entries. We will move ahead of schedule if possible.
Bathrooms will be available in the school but no locker rooms.
We will take results for every team in every event. All results will be posted at www.coltsnecktrack.com the evening of the meet.

There will be 3 throws or jumps in the shot put, discus, javelin, long jump and triple jump. In the high jump and pole vault, competitors will continue until they have missed 3 consecutive misses. We will not break ties in the field events.
