Garrett O'Toole, a senior distance runner at Middlesex School in Concord, Massachusetts, ran a US #1 time in the 1500 meter run by 6 seconds while competing against collegiate runners on Friday night at Princetown University with a remarkable time of 3:45.55. The time would easily convert to a 1600 (4:02) or mile (4:03-4:04) personal best for O'Toole, which would be national leading times as well if O'Toole had kept the pace for the extra distance.
