It was announced this afternoon that Westfield HS will be added to the NXN Nationals field as a Wildcard after the Blue Devils took 3rd in the Northeast Regional Qualifier yesterday.
The Blue Devils were led by individual champ Jack Leahy who took the race in 16:09. Coach Jack Martin's squad will join Christian Brothers Academy as the 2 New Jersey representatives to the National Championship meet in Portland Oregon next Saturday. CBA won the Regional Meet in convincing style. scoring 38 points and putting all 5 of their scorers under 16:40 for a team average of 16:25 over the Bowdoin Park course.
