The recipients of this week's Athlete of the Week honors are both repeat winners who have run some of the fastest times in the state this year. They each had the top performance in the Group Championship meet and go into the Meet of Champions as the popular favorites for the individual titles. Let's see who will get another "stylish, limited edition" NJRunners Tee Shirt for their performances.
Girls: Megan Lacy
School: Cherokee HS (Marlton)
Graduation: 2012
This Week:
Despite an injury that kept her from workouts on Thursday and Friday, Megan Lacy took the Group 4 title with the fastest time of the day (18:27). The win preserved Lacy's unbeaten season and brings her into this Saturday's MOC with the fastest time over the Holmdel course this year (18:19 @ Shore Coaches).

This Week:
Tim raced to the Boys Group 4 Championship in 15:38, the fastest time of the day on Saturday. Ball has the #s 2 & 3 Holmdel Park times this season as he approaches the Meet of Champions. Earlier this season, Tim announced his plans to attend and compete for The University of Notre Dame next fall.
