Christian Brothers / Voorhees Stay at the Top
Despite the fact that the Grandaddy of XC Festivals, The Manhattan Invitational, took place this weekend (Sunday this year for the religious observation of Yom Kippur), there was very little movement in the NJRunners TopTen. Many teams, especially in the Girls rankings chose to take the weekend off after the excitement and hard racing at Shore Coaches on 10/1. This week will start the County /. Conference portion of Championship time and we should start to see teams making their later season moves towards the top. Take a look and tell us what you think.

The big news on the Girls side is the return of Hillsborough to the #2 spot after Mt. St. Dominic Academy experienced a bit of a rough go at Manhattan and dropped down to the 5th spot. Rumson, on the other hand has really started to hit it's stride, and off of winning the F race at Vanny behind the individual victory of Rachel Christ , moves up 2 notches to #3. The balance of the Top Ten jockeys a little from 6-10.

It may be too early to anoint CBA, but they are looking more and more like an ALL TIME team. Their win in the Eastern States race at VCP was masterful and it does not look like anyone, at least on this coast, can run with them. Don Bosco moves back to #2 after taking 4th in the Eastern States race on Sunday. They will battle WW-P So. and Westfield for the 2 spot, most likely, for the rest of the season. The Cinderella Hackensack Comets make the Top Ten for the first time off of their runner up finish in the E race at Mannhattan.
