It has been reported that All American Joe Rosa of West Windsor-Plainsboro North has suffered a stress reaction and may miss the 2010 Cross Country season.
In an article printed by the Newark Star Ledger's on-line arm, Rosa is suffering from a stress reaction in his right foot near the ankle. Rosa's coach, Brian Gould is quoted in the article, saying "We are taking the approach that he will not run this season." He continued, "There are still more visits to doctors to see what we can do, but we don't anticapate Joe being able to race this season. It's very dissappointing for a kid that was trying to win a national championship.''
Joe and his twin brother Jim are on a visit to Stanford University this weekend. Joe was scheduled to make his season debut on 10/2 at the Shore Coaches Invitational.
